BannockburnBairn
Kings of Fife? Is that really a moniker you want? That's like being the smartest one in Geordie Shore.
GordieBoy80
First leg and we let ourselves down, thought Chris Dillon had stolen the game for us in injury time but the linesman's flag stood between us and a slender lead. Second leg Was even worse, instead of building on our lead our finishing was appalling and they picked us off hitting us with two sucker punches. A dream deferred, is it a dream denied? Our financial situation means it may very well be as our better players are out of contract with very little chance of them being held on and replaced adequately... GordieBoy80
Like I said I wasn't too bothered about the Lowland League Cup, the players didn't share my apathy and went and won it. Next season is going to be a testing one... Going to stop twitch streaming as it's just far too slow.
GordieBoy80
Players I've had to reluctantly let go as I can't afford to keep them Particularly upset about Vastsuk as he'd scored 21 games but all of those players were first team regulars with Thomson being club captain and Donaldson vice. ETA: Another first team regular leaves as we couldn't agree terms on a new contract

GordieBoy80
The club is still in administration but yet I can still make signings.. Many of the signings were made by the director of football and the others were players I signed based on his recommendations. Josh Skelly (ex-Dundee) appears to be the pick of the signings Last year's divisional success meant that we were in the first round of the Challenge Cup and we took Alloa to extra before collapsing and in hindsight I probably shouldn't have went all out attack considering most of the team were nowhere near match fit. The first two league matches passed largely without incident with two 3-1 wins. Pleased to get an early win over Spartans.
GordieBoy80
Now at the tail end of October and things seem to be going well in the League, in the Scottish Cup this season and drawn at home to Clyde. A game we are capable of winning, but did we? Would have taken the replay after being 2-0 down but Orsi's finish in injury time sent the supporters into dreamland. A home tie against Livingston next which is disappointing as they'll probably beat us and won't bring that many supporters. 7 points (albeit having played a game more due to still being in the Cup) clear at this stage is pleasing but there's still plenty of football to be played. GordieBoy80
Could we pull off another shock result against Livingston? In a word, no.

GordieBoy80
Crowds man, crowds........................ The 454 at the Clyde game is my record attendance. Not really expecting much league wise with 24 season ticket holders.
GordieBoy80
The rest of November was largely uneventful with 3 wins. Chris Dillon who has been on the fringes of the first team hasn't done his chances of a regular starting spot any arm with 4 goals in the destruction of Civil Service. He just needs to show that form a bit more regularly. The gap at the top widens to 8...

Pishy away support to blame IMO. Would be interesting to see how it goes when you go up. What were the crowds in play-offs last season?

What were the crowds in play-offs last season? I was wrong about the Clyde game being highest attendance, it was the highest gate receipts taken ever. The play off game was actually my highest attendance with 709 at the home game and 795 at the away game. Highs, lows and averages of crowds/gate receipts since I took over
GordieBoy80
December was another 100% procession although the 5-0 win over Spartans was remarkable in that they dominated but my keeper Craig McKechnie (a regen on loan from St.Mirren) had an outstanding display and our front men did the rest: 10 points clear now, ours to throw away.
