January and February and our 100% run continued and at the end of February we're one win away from our second successive Lowland League title

This news was most unwelcome because he is our top scorer...

Only lowly Preston Athletic stood in our way but like I just said our top scorer is out so someone else will have to step up to the mark...

It appears that our hero was under our noses the whole time in the under 20s!

This was just adding insult to injury tbh

No more scoring after that meant that Burntisland had won the Lowland League for the second successive season!

After winning the league the players took their foot off the pedal a bit, getting hammered by East Striling, losing to Threave Rovers and drawing with Gala Fairydean before a final day win over Gretna. Could we regain our form in the play-off games?

Let's watch, shall we?

It's Brora we're taking on this year with the first leg away from home.

Looks like Hammond's month away on loan in Matlock has helped...

A glitch in the download means that no matter what the result in the Highland/Lowland play-off the Highland League side always progress to the next play-off.

However, all is not lost as look what league we're in for the coming season:

If we don't gain promotion to League 2 this season I will be considering my position as I am receiving several offers.

Into Burntisland's first month as a Highland League side and 2 wins out of 2 is a good start but Fraserburgh were absolute thugs and all 3 subs were forced because of injuries. The Challenge Cup defeat to Dumbarton was disappointing in that we didn't do ourselves justice at all.

Ins and outs, due to our ongoing financial problems (we are still in administration) there were far more outs than ins and most of the ins were loan signings. Having said that I'm pleased to have signed Craig McKechnie on a permanent deal after his displays of last season.

You may have noticed that Lewis Small is on his way to Berwick, I won't lie, I'm devastated but I had no say in his departure. He's worth 5 times what Berwick paid for him... :bairn

Into September and disappointing news

post-20092-0-29166400-1434313781_thumb.j

Out of the possible replacements Oliver McBurnie has been inconsistent at best and Reghan Tumilty will need a few matches to get up to speed. Josh Skelly's form seems to have deteriorated and he's a bit part player at best. The other potential strikers I feel aren't ready for first team football just yet.

We lost our 100% record with a poor performance 2-2 draw away to Rothes but top of the league still so can't be too displeased.

October and I was annoyed at taking two attempts to beat Heriot Watt in the Scottish and ending the month with two defeats with a knackered paper thin squad. No excuse for the appalling decision making by some of the players. Could easily drop down the league if we don't turn things round.
