GNU_Linux
For sake of completeness TSV Havelse from the Nord league grabbed the last 3.Liga spot after seeing off Bayern League 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 2-0 on aggregate. Edited June 25, 2021 by GNU_Linux

Havelse's stadium, the Wilhelm-Langrehr-Stadion, isn't up to scratch as regards 3. Liga requirements. For this reason they will be playing their home games at H96's HDI-Arena / Niedersachsenstadion.

Boo Khaki
What's the deal with BVB II and Freiburg II being promoted into 3.Liga for this season? I thought they'd put the kybosh on II teams being promoted out of Regionalliga?

They can get promoted out of the Regionalliga into 3.Liga, but not from 3.Liga to 2.Bundesliga.

Bayern München II finished top of the Dritteliga in season 2019-20, but couldn't go up. Promotion and play-off spot went to Würzburg, Braunschweig & Ingolstadt. Bayern II then got relegated back to the Regionalliga the following season.
Boo Khaki
The DFB needs to change that rule then so I don't have to wait 23048920342 seasons to play Babelsberg in FM Honestly, I could have sworn a few years ago they changed it so II teams that were already in 3.Liga were permitted to remain there, but no new ones could be promoted, and if a II team was relegated then they lost that 3.Liga status for good. Must be thinking of another league.

GNU_Linux
Check of the old twitter and rumour is the rights have went to Sky Sports.Class if true.I'd assume they'll keep the same commentators they have currently as they are all independant contractors of sorts. Some of the folk who do the European leagues for BT also do stuff for Premier Sports as well.
