William Hill Scottish Cup 2015-16 - Big Thread

You're completely wasting your time. He's incapable of coherent recognition or analysis of facts. He's all over the place with his arguments as long as every post belittles any teams who are not salt of the earth juniors - preferably with a whippet, flat cap and some sort of empty pot to piss in built into his jumpers for goalposts, romanticised view of a world which doesn't exist - but when it did it was desperate in its own right.

He's a fuckin idiot.

Yet more posts with swearing.

Can you say a sentence without a swear word.

Is your vocabulary really that poor sonny?

Aye, but "history", "tradition", "school teams" and all that. :-)

In all seriousness though, a good summary of the cold, hard facts of it there HJ, not that it will make any difference to cabe.

So history and tradition don't matter.

People with that view are part of the problem not the solution.

You seem to like making a fool of yourself. :-)

The problem with you is you don't really care about history or tradition, unless of course it's the "right kind" of history and tradition. Anyone who is non league and hasn't come from the Juniors has none of either, according to you, despite continually being told that those you deride actually have near half a century as a club.

Your opinions in that regard are archaic and your arguments in support of them (and I use "arguments" loosely) are all over the place, which is why so many people are laughing at you here.

Can you not just accept that all forms of non league have their relative strengths and weaknesses and admit you are wrong in your dismissal of non junior sides, particularly in light of one comfortably defeating the consistently strongest Junior side of the last decade (at least) yesterday, for the second time in 2 seasons?

Go on, admit it, the standard of football outside of the Juniors is better than you thought? The HL appears to be leading the way, but midway through season 3 the fledgling LL is already at least on a par (middle to top) with the Juniors.

Or is that the issue? You see how far it's come in such a short spell and realise that perhaps the Juniors as an entity (there will be a few individual clubs who will move over in the coming years I suspect) are getting further away, not closer as a result. That the teams in the league structure, HL & LL, will gradually leave the Juniors in the rear view playing quality wise as well as organisationally (for the most part)?

Of course you will get bigger with all the SFA handouts just for getting licensed yet you don't even need to have your own ground.

You'd advocate duplicate stadiums in Cumbernauld, Stirling, etc.?

Yes every team should have their own park if they want to be senior.

You should not be able to say we can't play this week just because our landlords are playing.

Why?

Inter Milan & AC Milan? Roma & Lazio?

Bayern Munich & 1860 Munich?

Scotland & Queen's Park? Northern Ireland & Linfield?

Stenhousemuir & East Stirlingshire?

Queen of the South & Heston? Annan & Edusport?

Lothian Thistle HV & Tynecastle?

Numerous Junior groundshares?
