Honest_Man#1 Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 It appears that after having everything in place and a medical done, his agent changed the goalposts and started including multiple performance clauses into the contract that could bring his wages up to £30mil over 4 years which works out at well over £100,000 a week. Quite surreal I've been to an Essex derby at Root's Hall, and can confirm that the Southend fans are mental (at least during that game). Really vicious lower league local rivalries that barely anyone outside the towns involved even know about are part of the beauty of football imo.
