Will be a close game tomorrow. We are missing alot of players for the game but that's no excuse as we have beaten tollcross twice this season with weakened sides. The game is now being played at foresters 3G with a 3pk KO for anyone who intends on going along. The winner plays Linlithgow or ESV which will be another great game to watch! I reckon Edin Rose will be a different proposition on the 3G, especially after the pumping on Wed. Perhaps Danderhall slight favourites following their 4-1 win. Great win and another final to look forward to. Have you seen Edinburgh uni play this season oldandaround? Edinburgh rose again in a quarter final on Saturday for danderhall, hopefully the same outcome Seen the students a few times. Very, very fit. Play a full pitch pressing game and will never give you a minutes peace. Love to pass the ball about all the time probing and looking for openings. Very indirect. No long balls. love to have the full backs over lapping down the wings. Especially the left back. he's rapid. Hardly ever make a sliding tackle. No bookings. No chance of making it a battle, they just are not interested in 'nippy banter'. However they are a bit light weight and can be bullied. Especially at the back. Centre halves fast but young and skinny. Big strikers cause them big problems. Goalie under sized. Beware the last twenty minutes. They just dont tire! I think they match up pretty well against danderhall. The hall seem to use the fast strikers to attack with pace with balls over the top. after the "strong" and "robust" midfielders have won it after a battle in the middle of the park. The uni defenders will sit back on the big spartans pitch and mop that up. I fancy the students, but only because its on the big artificial pitch.
