Guest The Phoenix
I went to see the Doc. about it, and he said that it was the first ever case of a 15 year old with cartilage damage he has ever seen.Fucking nightmare! That'll teach you for engaging in underage sex.
Sao Paulo
I don't want to start the rant royale here but was anyone else slightly irritated by god save the queen being played for Murray? I'm not anti-brit or anything like that, I'm indifferent towards that whole scene, but there is an irrational pride inside of me which would have preferred the Scottish national anthem simply because he is after all Scottish.
Reynard
Just to be slightly picky he was actually defending 35 points from the same week last year, though it was the Canadian Masters then. He'll gain 465 points. That would be totally out of character

He'll gain 465 points. The tournaments which fall off the rankings computer from this week are last years events at Sopot and Washington, neither of which Murray took part in. The Cincinnati points from last year don't come off for another two weeks. However, now I think about it, that win will replace his 18th best result from last year, so I doubt he'll get the full 500. Fair do's. I thought the rankings reflected points won in the last 52 weeks, no more, no less. I haven't looked into it in any great depth though so I expect you're right. The rankings are slightly false at the moment in that the calendar move caused by the Olympics sees most players double counting Canada, and by next week, Cincinnatti. That favours the hard court speacialists (including Murray in theory though this time last year he was injured) a little.

I'd have liked that too, but he's a british tennis player so God Save the Queen was correct. He would have just upset the English even more if they'd played flower of scotland.
dogma
So far Andy Murray has earned $2,700,665 from ATP events Not including his wedge from this week May I be the first to not just congratulate him on that success but also suggest a small amount of that well earned greenmill be invested in either a vaguely talent / not blind barber or at a push some conditioner and a set of hair straighteners. I can only think of $2.7 million reasons why such a miserable poor groomed we chunt has such a tidy girlfriend.....not that am jealous or anything. Great to see the form improving again. Defo has what it takes to be no3 in the world ( cant see him overtaking Federer or Nadal ) but am I right in saying that if he can break top 4 he will start to avoid Nadal n Federer til at least the semis of Slam tourneys ??
Monster
Well done Andrew. No doubt you'll be tuning in to pie and bovril very soon for grooming advice, and why not? You've only gone and won your first Masters Tournament, it's not like you've got anything better to do, is it?

xbl
God loves a trier Well you know, with our blue trains, and renamed government, Andy Murray is just another piece in the Nationalists evil plan to get independence by stealth.
Monster
Glorious failure might have been better though. All that grunting and shaking of the head would lead the nats to the natural conclusion: He lost because of the English!!!!!
The Arch
I think that must put him in 4th for the 2008 ATP Race.atp Talent wise I'd say Federer and Nadal are ahead of everyone else, then Djokovic and Murray are just behind them Murray's probably the inform man in tennis, just behind Nadal at the moment.
