true_rover
Murray is up against Florian Mayer tomorrow morning in the Shanghai Masters R2. It's on not before 11am UK time with Djokovic's game beforehand and Federer's game afterwards so should be a good morning of tennis for those who aren't working tomorrow.

Diamonds are Forever
Not always that great to get a bye, especially when you've been given a bye in round 1 too, means he'll be playing a guy with two matches under his belt while Murray hasn't played a point.
TheScarf
Through to the quarters to play Radek Stepanek after he beat Dolgopolov 6-2 6-2 in 57 minutes.
TheScarf
Beats Stepanek 4-6 6-2 6-3. Bit of a struggle for the first set and a half. The 33 year old doubles specialist was 'doing a Jeremy Chardy' and miss hitting and finding the lines and winning the baseline rallies. Murray's timing was all off as well. But he got it together in the second and took control. Stepanek broke again in the 3rd but was broken straight away and Murray sealed it shortly after. Federer or Cilic in the SF. Federer probably,
Nightmare
Pretty comfortable for Murray. Fed not at the races. Pleasing.
Paulo Sergio
Murray showing the football team how it's done. Again.
Monster
Some of Murrays service returns today were just incredible. Banging it back past Federer from his FIRST serve at over 100mph, and he did it about five times in the second set. He's playing brilliantly at the moment. Pleasing.

IrishBhoy
I think if I ever met Murray I would spunk my pants. The guys a legend.
Loki
Murray was really good today, applied pressure on Federer's second serve to such a point that Federer increased his speed of his second serve and had the loltastic three double faults in a row. His return game today was very impressive. I thought Federer was in a gurny mood, the attempt to get the game stopped was highly amusing. I think the umpire should have told him to play on. Federer basically said the court is fine now, but I would prefer to wait in case it gets worse. The umpire should have said you think it's fine to play? Let's play. It saved Federer a break, but the capitulation when 40-0 up against Murray showed just how uncomfortable he was against Murray today. Looking forward to the final tomorrow and I think Murray will carry on his good form and beat the Djoker in a very tight match. Does anyone follow Brad Gilbert on twitter? Some of the nick names he uses for the guys on tour are pretty funny.
Diamonds are Forever
It was pretty spineless umpiring, Federer should have been told stop whining and keep playing. But it was as if the umpire was too scared to tell Federer what to do, so just allowed them to stand around for 10 minutes.
IrishBhoy
That is the first time I have ever seen Federer serve 3 straight double faults.
Reina
Anyone watching the final? Djokovic just had an epic tantrum, worthy of my three year old son. Love it! Edited October 14, 2012 by Reina
Monster
This tennis match is just incredible. Murray is utterly magnificent here, Djokovic hasn't a clue what to do. The 167 km/hour return of Djokovics first serve was brilliant! I'm beginning to believe Murray can go on like this and win at least a couple more slams. H_B
The guy on the BBC text thing has said men's tennis is arguably the best sport in the world just now, in terms of quality. He is correct.
Reina
He sure is. Djokovic looks lost at times. Serving for the match now.
Northsea80
Has anyone this year won more than one of the Grand Slam tournaments? I'm struggling to remember who won the French, i assume Nadal but he's been so hampered by injury he might not even have been there.
