peasy23
Murray takes the second set tie break 12-10, both players served magnificently during it.

booitsme7
Clearly going to all be on the doubles tomorrow You would think that but last year in the Quarter-Finals against Italy when GB won the doubles to lead 2-1 only to lose 3-2.
Mr Bairn
You would think that but last year in the Quarter-Finals against Italy when GB won the doubles to lead 2-1 only to lose 3-2. Murray playing Fognini on clay is a different kettle of fish from playing Simon at Queens. I'd put Andy Murray in for Inglot tomorrow. Gives us the best chance to win the tie imo
peasy23
Murray goes up 4-1 with a double break, should close it out in straight sets from here.
booitsme7
Murray wins 7-5 7-6 6-2 in 2 hours 35 minutes. Once Murray won the 2nd set tiebreaker there was only going to be one winner.
HibeeJibee
Talk on BBC was that Andy Murray would be rested tomorrow but how much of a chance do Jamie Murray & Inglot have of beating Gasquet & Mahut? Ward isn't going to beat Tsonga, so surely the Murrays have to play tomorrow as if we lose the doubles we've lost the tie regardless of Murray-Simon?
Diamonds are Forever
The argument against that is that if the doubles match goes to 5 sets then Andy would be less likely to beat Simon, although I think he would beat him anyway. I've not seen enough of Inglot to really judge, although I know he has a huge serve and is probably a more similar partner to John Peers, which might be better given Jamie's recent success.
AberdeenBud
I'm guessing Smith will just let Andy decide. I'd have him in the doubles without doubt, if he feels capable.
Guest Flash
I think they might go with Inglot and Jamie Murray because they took the Bryan brothers to 5 sets in the last round. They also need to think of Andy Murray's season because he has played a lot of matches this summer and the US Open Series is coming up soon. I think Andy will say he wants to play because he'll be thinking of the team, but it might be better to give him the day off.
AberdeenBud
The RoS on the deciding set point in the second was unreal. 138 mph serve I think, think Tsonga's shock it came back over played a part in him punting it long.
Loki
Talk on BBC was that Andy Murray would be rested tomorrow but how much of a chance do Jamie Murray & Inglot have of beating Gasquet & Mahut? Ward isn't going to beat Tsonga, so surely the Murrays have to play tomorrow as if we lose the doubles we've lost the tie regardless of Murray-Simon? Ward is far more likely to beat Tsonga than Simon. His best results have come against guys with big serves and poor return of serves, he has beaten Isner and Querry for GB in the World Group. Simon is a very good return of server, Tsonga not so much. If Kazakhstan win their doubles tomorrow I think they might shift Andy in with his brother. Kazakhstan winning (despite their pedigree) is a big upset. But any side that can take the best doubles partnership to five sets, has a chance against a team that has rarely played irrespective of how good they are individually. Inglot and Jamie Murray are doubles specialists. I would go with them. You can't rely on Andy Murray to play three matches all the time. The last time Murray played all three matches he looked depleted against Fognini.

Loki
I think you'll probably see Gasquet moved to play Murray tomorrow.
