Fide
You can make an observation and still support the party generally. I don't see anything wrong with that comment on its own. It's clear Corbyn is on the left. It's clear that there is a gap in the 'centre', and to me as someone who would consider himself on the left, it's clear that Cameron isn't rattled. If anything he's relishing it as it's easier for the Tories to throw accusations, argue simplistic ideas and show how different they are. It's up to Labour to defeat them, but the analysis jmo gave was correct imo Cameron IS rattled. As was easily demonstrated in the disgraceful things he said about Corbyn in his speech. Believe me, he's far more rattled at the prospect of Corbyn than he was at Milliband or any of the other centrist hand wringers the neo-liberals were keen to put in charge. The political left need someone to represent them in the UK and the votes are out there if they can be won.

Cameron attacked Corbyn in a way he knows will play well with both his own supporters and what he views to be the general position of the electorate. It was a strategic move which basically said 'he is very left wing, I am a centrist.' It's the age old political strategy of painting the other side as a risk, and positioning yourself as a moderate safe pair of hands. Like him or loathe him Corbyn has made it easy for Cameron to do this.

I really hope(d) Corbyn could take on the Tories but between the infighting within Labour, the hysteria of the tabloid press and the bitterness from the broadsheets over being slagged by Corbyn it's really easy for Cameron to go unchallenged in whatever he says about the Labour front bench. Bishop Briggs
Labour folk fretting about the Tories calling them meany words at Conference. Get a grip ffs. Spot on. You hear much worse at PMQs. The abuse that the Tory conference attendees got from the protestors was disgusting. Even BBC journalists were spat at. Yet Corbyn went up to support and talk to them. Fide
So are the Tories. I struggle to find sympathy for Tory supporters. I know I repeat this but their party's policies are directly leading to child starvation and disabled people dying so f**k 'em.

Bishop Briggs
So are the Tories. But it was everyone who was abused, including journalists, charity workers and lobbyists. A Jewish man who was wearing a scull cap was called "Jew scum" and then told to "f**k of back to Auschwitz". Amazingly, the Manchester police did nothing. Left-wing anti-semitism is as just bad as that of the far right. It's enlightening that such disgusting behaviour is being supported by several morons on here.
