WOW! They couldn't be separated at the conclusion of our inaugural Prediction League in 2011, but five years on it is Davis Love III who edges ONE POINT ahead of Jupiter Jazz to win the World Championship for a second time. It was remarkably close, and had Adrian Lewis hit just one more 180 in the final against Gary Anderson, the Forfar man would have won a third-major title. He was incredibly unfortunate, having produced one of the finest performances we've ever seen, having not been outside the top two at any point during the championship.

The Chassis finishes in an extremely credible third on his debut, narrowly ahead of The Naitch. F_T_Y produced a consistent fortnight to sit in a notable fifth on the leaderboard, Poet of the Macabre completed his best ever showing to sit in sixth, while last year's runner-up Stuarty edged up to seventh on the table. Former World Champion Honestly United ended the tournament in eighth, while former major winners Marshmallo and Neilly completed what was a high-performing top ten at the conclusion of our sixth annual Pie and Bovril PDC World Darts Championship Prediction League.

Diamond_For_Life, I am so grateful for your fantastic gesture to donate £20 to a charity of the winner's choice. I would be very appreciative if you would give that money to Children 1st (http://www.children1st.org.uk/), who do some incredible work to support neglected and abused children throughout Scotland. Thank you so much!

The Michael van Gerwen signed print photo will carry over as a prize for our next Prediction League, the Premier League of Darts, which will begin next month. All the details to enter and play will be posted when the fixtures for the travelling showpiece are released in the next few weeks.

I thank all of you for taking part this year. We've done these leagues for half a decade now, and they wouldn't be worth running without your participation. I hope you all enjoyed playing, and that it added just a little bit of additional fun to what was an incredible championship. I would love to see many of you entering the other leagues during the year, as they has been a pleasure to put together all this time.

Have a wonderful beginning to 2016. I hope the coming year brings you all fulfilment, happiness and great health.

Cheers!

Mid table respectability for my debut. Made a good start and had a good finish but the middle was a bit sketchy. Overall, I'm happy with that and will definitely take part in the premier league predictor!

Well done Davis!

Superbly run again DLIII, top marks mate. And well done, well deserved double World winner.

I was appalling, maybe just my skewed remembrance of these majors but I always seem to feast or famine them. Either rock bottom or challenging for honours, can't ever remember mid table obscurity!

Onwards and upwards however, I'm fancying another Premier League title in my trophy cabinet.
