It was a dramatic day at the Alexandra Palace, with Raymond van Barneveld rolling back the years to defeat the hot-favourite Michael van Gerwen. In the Prediction League, Tuesday was always going to be a pivotal event, with increased points from the third round coming into play. The Chassis took that opportunity brilliantly, and ascended from 12th to 4th on the leaderboard and into direct contention.

A veteran of our leagues, F_T_Y is still seeking his maiden title, and he looks likely to now better his highest World Championship finish of 7th, having rose ahead of Wilkinson1998 and Neilly into 3rd. Poet of the Macabre continues to perform strongly, while Booitsme7 edged inside the top ten after a solid evening. Credit also to debutant (and fellow St. Johnstone fan) Kyle, who has fought hard to rise from the depths of the board to reach a more than credible 13th. And there is still more to come.

We only have four more competitive days before we crown our World Darts Championship Prediction League Champion of 2016...

Phil Taylor exits the World Championship, and Peter Wright squeezes through into the new year. It was a dramatic night of darts at the Ally Pally, and one that was difficult to predict to the end. That would lead to a noticeable discrepancy in the points awarded for the Prediction League.

As we enter 2016 and the final three days of the tournament, former winner Davis Love III has pulled further ahead at the summit from Jupiter Jazz, with Wilkinson1998 rising up to 3rd. The Chassis, F_T_Y and Neilly all remain in comfortable positions, while two-time major winner The Naitch has progressed up to 7th. Poet of the Macabre desperately needs to remember that he can select a player for the 180s, while it was a strong night for our reigning World Champion, Callum-Ayr who collected the most points on Wednesday to move inside the top ten.

Quarter Finals - 16 Points for Correct Result, 18 Points for Correct Score.
Semi Finals - 20 Points for Correct Result, 22 Points for Correct Score.
Final - 24 Points for Correct Result, 26 Points for Correct Score.

I hope you all have an enjoyable Hogmanay and beckon in the New Year in style!
