Deefiant
Exactly....I actually thought you would end up punishing us from one of them but there seemed to urgency to take them. Are you saying that if the closest man had rushed after the ball, placed it ASAP and crossed it ASAP for every corner we would have won? There is a reason dead ball specialists take the kicks. There is also a reason they wait for the centre halfs to get up. It's really not rocket science you complete walloper.

No, I'm speaking about throw-in's. You don't have to be a specialist throw-in taker to throw a ball 5-10 yards. Why pick the ball up and then drop it and walk away so someone from 10-15 yards away can slowly walk over to take it to only throw it 5-10 yards. Happened several times. As for the throw in's there was no urgency from the 'specialist' who was taking it, to get over, or indeed take it.

You want your creative players to be available for the throw in, so the less creative players usually take them.

rambling syd rumpo
Disgraceful cheating from Dundee if I'm hearing right. You lads had the audacity to come with a game plan and then even worse wanted to be set up right in dead ball situations? Someone will be compiling a dossier about this for sure. I also see you didn't even give Celtic a penalty for their rightful 3 points. We wrecked the late penalty option by keeping the ball around their penalty area for the last 10 minutes. Can only go by radio commentary but there was not one mention of time wasting. If anything commentary gave the sense we were the team most likely to score. Was the missed header from a corner as bad as it sounds? Commentary team couldn't believe he missed it. It was worse. One of those chances where you're certain it's hitting the back of the net, then the ball inexplicably keeps going past the post. I think everyone in the ground thought it was a goal. For a team that was time wasting and not going for it we got what, 4 corners in the last 5 minutes? And what did we do with them? Whip the corners into the goalmouth, with defenders up to attack them.

Ha-ha....chasing the game. Got the opposition under sustained pressure with only mins to go....& you are insisting on having a specific player go throw a ball 5-10 yards. Great mentality. Why did the players who initially went to take the throw in, do so in the first place if they are only going to drop it on the floor for someone else to walk over to take. Not just once but several times. If you can't see blatant time-wasting then you are a numpty!

Not just once but several times. If you can't see blatant time-wasting then you are a numpty! Listen, we witnessed proper time wasting on Saturday - including a goalkeeper booked in the first half for it against us. We know what time wasting is. You are looking for something to re-affirm to yourself that Celtic are a great team and people fear you. You're not a good team, in fact you are shite, and teams have lost the fear factor - that's why we were dominating the ball in the closing stages rather than hanging on like we usually are against Celtic. How often does a team that us time wasting fashion 2 brilliant chances in the last 5 mins? A team that is time wasting plays corners short and holds the ball in the corner - did we do that? What a fucking nightmare you are having today.
Ludo*1
So forget the corners because you've backtracked on that now... Our only act of actual time wasting was for one of our other players to go receive the ball and give it to one of our full backs to take the throw? This is the time wasting that you felt meant we just wanted a draw, because we set up not to get hit too easily on the counter. You don't half talk some pish.
