Forfar v airdrie

Recommended Posts

Massive game this Saturday for us. Hope we put in same performance we did down at airdrie in the midweek game as we should have won but only got a draw .

Few injuries and suspensions are going to take its toll on our starting 11 this week. Andy Ryan and TOB will be big losses , possibly the 2 stand outs in recent weeks

A win for Forfar could see Airdrie pulled into the relegation/playoff mire, depending on results elsewhere.

Is Ryan definitely out BD?  A big loss if that's the case.

ETA, just checked the website, both he and Martin suspended with the yellow card totting up procedure.

Hopefully got enough bodies to give the Diamonds a bit of a game!

A win would be a fantastic result at this point of the run in but I fear we may drop points in this game - down to who is unavailable. As mentioned above, Ryan and TOB have been key players over the last few weeks and Scott Martin has been decent covering right back. But...if Craig is back to approaching full fitness, ditto for Spark & Dunlop and we maybe throw Hay on up front...you never know.

Crowd - around the 600 mark

50/50 - £220 and to be won by someone in hospitality...again.

Losing Gary Bollan was a disaster for Airdrie we've brought in two managers since then and it's been a shambles after watching Forfar dominate us at Gloomfield which I believe was down to Bollans organisation of his team.

Forfars players were simply all better than ours. We lost all our battles all over the pitch. Bollan did organise his team well enough as he needed but our lot's disorganisation was the key factor. They could've won by 10 that night if their finishing wasn't hopeless.
