JamieStevenson
After a pretty average WrestleMania, we move on to the next PPV which sees Payback switch places with Extreme Rules. Now that Shane O' Mac is basically running things (on screen), we should all look forward to some fresh match ups thanks to new arrivals to the roster. Would not surprise me at all if this turns out much better than Mania. Some interesting factors over recent weeks, plenty to discuss. - Several new arrivals to the main roster Post-Mania, are we happy with the call ups/signings or do we think there were some that are possibly unnecessary? - The seed has been planted for Charlotte to potentially get rid of Ric as he's holding her back and I'm quite frankly sick of the sight of him. Will she ditch her pishy auld da? - Back-to-back massive wins for AJ Styles means he's still the #1 contender for the title, seems Vince has no intentions at all to bury quite possible the best wrestler on the planet. Confirmed Matches: Kalisto © vs Ryback for the United States Championship. (Kickoff Show Match) Vince McMahon will make an announcement as to who will run Raw post Payback. The Vaudevillians vs Enzo and Cass to become #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler. The Miz © vs Cesaro for the Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn Charlotte © (with Ric Flair) vs. Natalya (with Bret Hart) for the WWE Women's Championship. Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho Roman Reigns © vs AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
LAGer
This is looking good so far. Hopefully a return to the days when Backlash used to follow Wrestlemania and they were often quality shows. Had it once or twice with Extreme Rules too.
Lyle Lanley
Looks better than this year's WM.
Poet of the Macabre
I don't want to see the IC title change hands yet again but I also don't want Cesaro to lose.

Ira Gaines
Not looking too bad this actually. Everything at least looks like it could be okay, and that main event is carrying some intrigue with the Anderson/Gallows stuff going on at the minute. Poet of the Macabre
Thought I wasn't going to be able to watch this but just realised it's a Monday holiday. Looks a fun card.
DigOutYourSoul
AJ to win the title with full Bullet Club heel turn.
cb_diamond
Very good card on paper. Wonder if they will pull the trigger on any title changes, although I'm doubtful at the moment that it will happen.
Poet of the Macabre
AJ to win the title with full Bullet Club heel turn. Seems too obvious, no? edit- Anyway, there's been too many title changes. Roman needs to hold it until SummerSlam at least.
DA Baracus
Neither AJ winning the title now and turning him heel make any sense at the moment. They've invested heavily in Reigns and if he were to lose the title now, he's pretty much done for a long time as a top guy. Plus Reigns is showing signs of a heel turn. What about Gallows and Anderson joining Reigns? It would allow AJ to stay strong in a defeat if they interfere and would allow Reigns to turn full heel. Plus the outrage from some would be pretty funny. I know they beat him down the other night, but that could easily be explained as being done so to put people off. They could claim that AJ abandoned them to come to WWE and didn't bring them along. In saying all that, Payback might be too early to have either that or AJ forming the Bullet Club happen. It might be good to just have Reigns win clean but show signs of being a heel and have Anderson and Gallows keep battering aw c**t for a wee bit longer to build suspense. Poet of the Macabre
They beat up Reigns to put people off the scent that they were actually in cahoots? Sounds like a storyline from 1999-2000 WCW.

Francesc Fabregas
Weird seeing Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn blow off their feud at a minor-league PPV like Payback - I would have thought they'd have saved it for something like SummerSlam.
djchapsticks
Weird seeing Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn blow off their feud at a minor-league PPV like Payback - I would have thought they'd have saved it for something like SummerSlam. Hopefully it's not the blow off. I reckon something with the depth and genuine history and obvious chemisrty these guys have between them could be a huge and proper upper midcard feud all through the summer. A series of top notch matches that will elevate KO as a guy who should be at the very top of the card and Zayn as a guy who will be there or thereabouts would be perfect. As for AJ. It doesn't matter what WWE do. It doesn't matter if it's AJ, Bulletproof, Bullet Club, Balor, any combo of the four or any other guys still in NJPW. It doesn't matter how cowardly, underhanded or despicable they try and book these guys, the crowd are going to get firmly behind them. They want to see Bullet Club and they want to see Reigns get his baws kicked. No combination of whatever they do will draw anything other than pops for BC and heat for Reigns. It's not rocket science what SHOULD happen here.
Poet of the Macabre
No chance Zayn vs Owens is the pay off for their feud. The Charlotte vs Natalya match shows they're trying to copy successful NXT storylines so I'd imagine a disputed finish leading to a gimmick match later on. Looking forward to Shield + Owens + Zayn vs Bullet Club at Survivor Series
