Seen that one before, doesn't look like a player to me looks more like some full kit wearing fan(ny).

Doesn't excuse the moron trying to take him out though.

Anyone got that video with the steward fresh air kicking at a Hibs fan?

Looks like things were worse than they looked on the TV pictures but where do Rangers get their moral high ground when a) they let off multiple flares b) sang sectarian abuse all match and c) entered the field of play and fought opposition supporters.  They have no moral high ground.  None.

Not really concerned about any rockets that took a whack on the pitch but if any Rangers players have been injured coming off the pitch that is a pretty serious matter.

The thing is you can't help but feel the club has exaggerated what happened in the immediate aftermath because of this deep seated grudge they have against all things non peepal.

Wallace et all - show us your bruises.

cracking game o fitba, hibs deserved it as i thought they created more chances, superstars like mckay and cummings were rank. hibs fans obviously delighted but going over to the rangers end was a bit daft and the over the hill rule britania mob going on to confront them is just as sad, but they never surrender. the press will love it and being from the west coast you just know the record will be spunking their pants when the capture a princess di eyes photo o andy halliday saying he could have died at the hands of those east coast savages. at the end o the day hibs will get a 100k fine and a closed doors scottish cup match, rangers a 20k fine and a final final warning for their songs. next year hibs will hibs it and go out to alloa in the 4th round.

At Easter Road. 1 up entering the final 10 minutes. Lose 2-1. Alloa lose 7-0 in next round.

First off, congratulations to Hibernian Football Club. Think it has been far too easily forgotten in this that they won a superb game of football. Anthony Stokes was outstanding today, utterly outstanding. And if ever there was a fitting way to end the 114 curse, it was to do a reverse Hibsing it. Magnificent lads, enjoy your night.

I can understand the joyous 95% of the pitch invasion. They've not only had it tight from other fans for many years about the Scottish Cup thing, but also had it tight from Rangers fans over the failings later in the season. Pure joy and emotion is understandable.

Assaulting players is idiotic and those that did should be banned.

However, Rangers are by no means innocent in this. There is a section of their support who take great joy in being as provocative as possible with vile bigoted singing and a false superiority complex, then are surprised when others react to this. At Ibrox, the worst of their fans are placed both sides of and above the away support.

And today, some of their fans couldn't wait for the minority of Hibernian idiots to come on the park, so that they could react. This after Motherwell last season, where instead of clearing off at full time, a number remained to give it the whole "cry was no surrender" rubbish.

At the end of the day, if the fans act provocatively and the club fails to take action, incidents like today will continue to happen. In no way does that excuse Hibernian supporters, but the fact is that the common denominator is Rangers losing and their fans reacting.
