Ooooft, Samson gets his first game for us. (Apparently Ripley's been ill most of this week).

Pleased to see Allan Campbell on the bench.

Samson

Law Kennedy McManus Hammell

Ainsworth Cadden Lasley Johnson

Moult McDonald

Subs: Ripley, Chalmers, Thomas, Watt, Campbell, Hall, Leitch

Very pleasing result and apart from the sellick game our run is absolutely superb.

McGhee and the squad deserve a huge amount of credit considering how bad things looked for a lot of the season.

Hopefully we can keep the momentum up and get fourth place sewn up.

Aye, decent performance.

Light-years ahead of where we were earlier in season.

A bit more composure and the right pass and we could have had a couple more.

That said, Samson made a good save to prevent equaliser.

Get a good pre-season and the players properly fit, like McGee's first season and we could be pkaying decent stuff next year from the start.

Should have been pay back for the last game at Tynie, should have been an easy 4 and probably more. Oh well.

Hearts were an absolute shambles, players failing to make even basic passes and getting caught on the ball. One chance created in 90 minutes. Their defence couldn't deal with our rotating attackers and we overran them in midfield with Cadden getting through a power of work.

Hearts today was the worst team I've seen at Fir Park since we beat St. Mirren 4-0 about a year ago.

Samson looked very comfortable today although he only really had one real save to make.  Wonder if he'll be first choice next season.

Well that was unexpected...

Could easily have been 3 or 4. Quite remarkable miss from McDonald in the 2nd half and for all Alexander made a great save from Moult's effort he should have buried his chance as well.

Thought McDonald had a t'riffic game in midfield and Ainsworth took his goal really well.

Was expecting much more from Hearts. They offered very little and Samson's save aside I thought we looked totally comfortable.

Nicely done indeed.
