StreetwiseHercules Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 Watching Gogglebox just now and it's the bit about the BBC Horizon programme about Zoos. What do people think? I personally don't like Zoos. To me it's very often playing God with animals for the sake of entertainment or curiosity. I feel particularly sorry for those Pandas at Edinburgh zoo. Badgered continually and moved from pillar to post by the staff and all the intrusive tests to do with their fertility. However I think they can be important in allowing people to see animals they would likely never see and thus raising awareness of their state in the wild and help with conservation.
