Made this point before, but why is it now the done thing to slag off Forrest in a way that is completely out of proportion to any criticism that he actually deserves? He's had a great start to the season, is deservedly in the squad, came on with 20 minutes to go and did a perfectly fine job of helping us see out the win and increase the lead. We win 5-1 and some of the main comments people want to make are to rip into Forrest for absolutely no reason. Weird.

It's cause Huttons no playing and Gordon Strachan didn't say anything stupid. (Still getting a slagging like)

The voice of reason.

The other talking point was Strachan talking up the McKay too. Seems praise for Celtic & Rangers players not making a massive contribution don't go down with the haters. Pretty pathetic as it's supposed to be a united front but petty people make petty comments.

Good positve start to the group.

I thought Snodgrass and Bannan were excellent tonight.

It did expose our defensive frailties though, we really need a solid centre half pairing I just dont trust Hanley in there, the full backs need to track back quicker. Get that sorted and the group could be ours for the taking!

The frustration, at least on my part, is he was asked about Snodgrass and totally blanked it.
