South Lanarkshire Jag
Can he still play development league as well? Nope, he's too old to qualify for a Development Loan.

Big Rider
Supposedly aberdeen are to offer a pre contract to Stewart bannigan is he any good McInnes has lost it if he wants Bannigan. He's pure mince man. It'll be Aberdown with him on board.

thisal
Supposedly aberdeen are to offer a pre contract to Stewart bannigan is he any good You'd be better waiting to see who Archie replaces him with, he'll be a better player. It's the Archiegod way.
Mediocre Pundit
Nicky Law free to leave Sevco apparently. If he's the ex-Motherwell guy he could be a good fit for us playing behind Doolan... jagfox
f**k Aberdeen. I'd rather keep him rather than get £50000 or some derisory offer from the Sheeple. They have nothing to play for anyway this season.
Smurph
It'll be a PCA. Aberdeen want to get rid of Flood first, but there's no point in us selling if he's been playing so well. Could be the difference between staying up or relegated. I would rather he went down south but Aberdeen's a very good move for him.
Red 'N Yellow
I like how the Sun article makes sure to add in that he's a "former Celtic kid". Would be gutted to lose yet another player for nothing but he's been terrific for us over the years.
Fuctifano
There's no chance Bannigan will be here next season, I think he'd probably be better off in England though I suppose it might depend on his personal preference and circumstances. That'll be ATS, O'Donnell, and Bannigan away in consecutive seasons when they're only just too old to get compensation. I suppose getting money for Hendry after him playing half a dozen games makes up for it a bit. edit: agree with the lol @ "former Celtic kid", he's only been here since he was about 16. oneteaminglasgow
When Bannigan leaves, who will that leave us with from the first division wining side? Doolan, Welsh, Lawless and Elliott? Am I missing any?

Vinnyjag
In all seriousness, Bannigan is an outstanding player, and having been at the last game at Pittodrie he is as good as if not better than any of your midfield guys who played that night. He is an expert at creating space out of nothing, always plays a decent pass and has a great engine from the 1st to 95th minute. If Aberdeen do get him he will be an outstanding addition to your squad and a certain starter every week.
Virtual Insanity
Suspect this is the move he may make, I think there is a Bannigan shaped space at the back of Aberdeen's midfield with Flood getting on. A good move for him. Some of your more mouth breathing fans might not take to him because 'he's always passing it sideways' etc (still some that give him stick at Firhill), but he's a class act. I think he's our best player of the last 15 years.
P45
Better he goes to Aberdeen than some no mark outfit like Luton or joins the revolving door queue at Wigan. It'll be a shame to see him go but Archie will provide.

georgieshaws2nd
if we keep losing these players for nothing and shrinking the wage bill every year then archie will be off soon only so much the guy can do and i reckon a few teams will be taking notice of him this year every other season he seems to go under the radar but this season he seems to be getting noticed more
Nightmare
Our wage bill will surely rise next season considering the likely promotion of a certain zombie hoard. I'd heard Bannigan had decided to move down south from a fairly reliable source. Aberdeen would be a disappointing choice, imo.
