Would he be a first choice summer signing? Absolutely not. But we are where we are and I think he could do a job. PS Montgomery would be a decent signing imo but agree we need a RWB. He’s been decent for Hearts when called upon and can cover LWB in an emergency. We have a limited budget, were perhaps happy with our midfield options, Slattery's injury now leaves us short, Halliday is here and available.
