Interesting to see who went on to make a name and who didn't. To play the game they need to have been mentioned by the manager or linked by a source other than someone on Twitter with 20 followers. That Turkish fella doesn't count. I'll start the ball rolling with 2: Robert Snodgrass (Luton to free) who ended up at Hearts and it wasn't filled with glory, was always going to be a last payday however. Alexander was keen on Robbie Gotts (Leeds) who ended up at Barrow. Also, if any costs have been incurred by either party based on the understanding that a formal agreement will be reached, there might be a discussion about covering those costs. This is usually more about fairness and reputation than a legal obligation. It’s also important to note that if there are any specific clauses within the HoTs that are stated to be legally binding, such as confidentiality agreements or exclusivity periods, those would need to be honoured, and breaking such clauses could have legal consequences.
