But he was a Scottish Protestant so he was hated. John Barnes is black so he was despised and out the door quickly. O'Neill was less successful than Strachan but they loved him. I like many Celtic supporters liked Strachan, his demeanour rubs some people up the way for some reason though. Look in tartan army ramblings on this forum and you can see that. Are they bigots too?
