PSJ.84
Genuinely astonished (am I that surprised though?) at the post I’ve just read on the banter page, complaining about the number of Saints fans there yesterday.

Equally astonishing that Mr 'Bright' believes they all would have turned up for the old manager too!

They give him far more attention than he deserves. Patronising and condescending. His creation, super saint, was an embarrassment.

PSJ.84
Can Crawford, O’Halloran etc. play for us again this season? Far too lazy to look through the rules as I’ll inevitably end up down a black hole

I think anyway...

Quote "Relegated Dundee United have been deducted three points and fined £30,000 for using two ineligible players in their win over Inverness Caley Thistle. Ali Coote, a 17-year-old midfielder, came on as a substitute, while Jamie Robson, 18, was an unused substitute. SPFL rules forbid players from playing for their parent clubs if they return from lower-league loans after 31 March. Having returned from loan spells from East Fife and Brechin respectively, Coote and Robson were not eligible to appear for United again until the start of next season." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36265268 Edited May 7, 2023 by capt_oats

PSJ.84
Definitely some recency bias at play with Phillips getting an award but agree that he probably deserves some sort of recognition. Says a lot about our season that a guy who couldn’t get near the team before the World Cup is winning things.

Always bad timing to do before end of season, but I know logistics post season is difficult and still potential of being in relegation dogfight pre final game. If anything, should act as a good boost for May and Wright in particular going into final few games. Montgomery might have been in with a shout re young player. mizfit
Heard there’s a very high chance Callum Davidson turns up at Dens if Bowyer goes to Blackpool. -
The Real Saints
Hope so. Can’t be bothered with another relegation scare next season, so guaranteed safety would be much appreciated.

Would make sense since Strachan was the one who brought him into the Scotland camp. Albeit as we know, Davidson is a very very good coach, it’s the leadership but he lacks! As much as we’d all be able to laugh about it, maybe having someone senior and experienced would help him become a better manager, then again maybe he’s too stubborn.
