SJFCtheTeamForMe
Sorry, what? It would 100% alienate even more fans. The East Stand was incredibly empty a few weeks ago against Rangers. Giving the East Stand to the Old Firm again regardless of revenue would be quiet the incredible own goal. SJFCtheTeamForMe
Zero chance he's signing any longer deal right now. followed by a story in Feb saying talks were shelved to focus on staying in the league. Then probably 3 days after the final game of the season there will be a statement confirming who is leaving where it confirms he's decided to move on. RandomGuy.
Could see him staying for another year if we stay up, as actually playing games every week for someone his age is a big thing. But he wont stay if we're relegated, so theres no chance hes committing to a new deal just now IMO. Think his role v Livi (beside a sitting midfielder and a more creative/attacking one, allowed to press high) is his best one. Hopefully see that more often than him being asked to be the attacking one.

Are we not close to having enough season ticket holders that there wouldnt be enough room in the main stand? 2600 ST's & main stand is 3000 but once you discount the hospitality, directors box etc.

Plus unless this Craig lad is suggesting that the Dundee United fans at Raith will sing sectarian songs all game, trash half the seats and try to fight families in the car park, I'm not sure there's much relevant to the comparison.
mizfit
Well, I guess we now know who Steve Brown and Ian “Call me Flax” Flaherty consulted before the decision in January.

RandomGuy.
I genuinely have no idea what a foul is or isnt anymore. Feels like its just luck of the draw.
Jamie_B
Very surprised at that.

Now the question remains, will these decisions even themselves out for us now as fans who benefit always claim. Absolutely not, but if I see Andrew Dallas on VAR this weekend, then we’ve got issues.

PauloPerth
We are fucking massive. Thats another decision we’ve had overturned. You could argue it was a debatable red, but certainly not an error to the extent you’d overturn it on appeal. We basically tell the league how things should run round here. There’s no way on earth we’ll get relegated…

tree house tam
I hope Liam now takes on board how shite his positioning and decision making has been, we've been extremely lucky that it never resulted in a loss at the weekend. Players need to own their shit, you fucked up don't let it happen again.
Theyellowbox
I think the right decision was reached in the end. If I'm honest, I don't think it would have changed the final score. Hopefully the vindication gives Gordon (and the rest of the team) a small boost. McLean can maybe use it as a bit of a 'refs are against us' prompt (refs don't really care either way in a Saints v Livi game tbh). Equally the manager should have a wee word with Gordon to say he got away with that there and to take the red on board in the way he throws himself into needless challenges. Does bring into question though, how (presumably) at least 2 VAR officials and the ref reviewing it still got it wrong. Its not as if the check took 30 seconds all in and they could claim it was rushed, they spent ages reviewing it and still got it wrong. Do the refs and VAR officials get some kind of demotion/suspension themselves? If nothing else, the next time they are in charge of a Saints game, McLean would do well to flag this decision prior to the game, to put some pressure on. Other clubs do it, so why shouldn't we.
