If it is Haring that is signing. Isn't he rather injury prone?

He seems finished, yes.

Nobody who knows they can play top flight football will be signing for us just now, so it'll be another 23yo with 2 senior games like Olufunwa, or some 38yo you thought had retired who's coming back from Singapore.

This just stinks of Levein leaving in June, Kirk stepping up and the media acting like Levein did nothing wrong.

Great to read the Courier article from Dave Mackay and how together the squad were with a passionate, thoughtful manager.

If only we had that now 😞

Happy May 17!

If we had any one from either, Wright, MacKay or Millar in the current side, we don't end up where we are. Proper leaders, whereas now we have none.

Maybe we get together that side to have a word with the current team and while we are at it, convince Tommy to come back.

"Levein tried his best, but a club in turmoil since the harsh sacking of double-winning manager Callum Davidson held little hope of survival after a disastrous start to the season.

His apprentice, Andy Kirk, now holds the task of bouncing St Johnstone straight back from the Championship, a task he held with Highland League side Brechin City before joining the Perth side"

“Andy has turned to former Hearts teammate Steven Pressley as his assistant, due to his own knowledge of the championship.”

Ably backed by another former Jambo, Allan Preston, to advise on player recruitment.
