RandomGuy. Posted Sunday at 16:38 Share Posted Sunday at 16:38 Apparently the first half of this game is what Valakari wants too. https://sportacentrs.com/sportacentrs_tv/pilna_spele/25072024-uefa_konferences_ligas_2_kvalifikacijas_k

Holt, Smith and Carey bring the 3 mid and Benji, Sidibeh and Kirk/Clark being the front 3.
SJFCtheTeamForMe Posted Sunday at 16:58 Share Posted Sunday at 16:58 (edited) What makes Saints appealing for him to leave Riga and come here? Is he just looking for a job he can use as a platform to get an opportunity at a higher level should he do well at Saints? Sounds like the owners at Riga are a nightmare so he'll probably be desperate to get away from that, and he's always talked about loving Scotland and wanting to manage here. I don't think he'd stick around a huge amount of time tbh, especially if a move up the ladder came about, but if he's getting a move like that then he's probably leaving us in a better position than he found us.
Kyle Posted Sunday at 17:57 Author Share Posted Sunday at 17:57 A manager using Saints as a springboard is absolutely fine by me, it'll means he's come in and done well.

Kyle Posted Monday at 07:20 Author Share Posted Monday at 07:20 I'm going to guess that Valakari turning us down will be in the courier at 11:30 and there will be a piece about our actual first choice, John Hughes being appointed tomorrow.
Radford Posted Monday at 07:48 Share Posted Monday at 07:48 If Valakari turns this down then they are going to need to re-assess going for a manager currently in employment, whether they applied or not. The prospect of particularly Kirk but also, sad to say, Cleland, being part of any new era is dispiriting as well. But are Saints going to pay to relocate two or three coaches from abroad?
Saintdunc Posted Monday at 08:29 Share Posted Monday at 08:29 I hope the 'list' includes reserves!

Saintdunc Posted Monday at 09:32 Share Posted Monday at 09:32 What price Andy Kirk to lead us into The Championship, or the game against Rangers? Be afraid, very, very afraid!

Costanza Posted Monday at 16:15 Share Posted Monday at 16:15 Presumably the previous projections this report makes get ignored each time a new one is released? Had us comfortably safe a few weeks ago. Don’t disagree with us being bottom, seems obvious. Can deduce that by simply watching us play.
Kyle Posted Monday at 16:22 Author Share Posted Monday at 16:22 Aye no stats required to see the clown car in the room. We're in big trouble unless we find some diamonds in the free agent market... in October.
