Is it unrealistic to expect vsome sort of progression rather than middling around in the top half of the bottom six every season? Dangerous precedent to set.

There are a certain section of our support who won't like uppity talk like that.

We're supposed to know our place you see, and be grateful for it.

We all want us to be our best, but look at the size of budgets above us last season, and we ended up where most would expect, maybe not hope

What would you recommend Merkland !We are relatively unexperienced in the last decade of middling around this area you suggest! it would appear from some google research that Aberdeen have some more experience of this situation, so what would be your advice?

We missed the chance to grow the club in the Summer of 2014.

15,000 people bought tickets from the club, a competent organisation takes all those names and addresses and puts them on a database, then sends them season ticket information.

Over 3,000 people at the parade after the Final. A competent organisation hands out flyers advertising season tickets.

Iconic cup winning player gets sold for around half a million, a competent organisation tries to continue the good feeling by signing a striker who can match that players contribution., while trying to play exciting football to keep new fans coming.

What did we get?

First two points were completely ignored, not a single season ticket sold through those means. Final point?

We signed Brian Graham on loan and spent every game shitfesting 1-0 wins, in one of the most brutal seasons of football I can ever remember.

I call realism

Nobody expects us to be challenging for the title FFS, we're always going to have peaks and troughs and we will be relegated in the next few decades, at best.

The frustration is at how the club seem to be actively dragging us downwards with incompetence.

Put "Perth football club" into Google and St Johnstone aren't the first thing that comes up, m8.
Even if you put up "football teams in Perth" they don't come up first, they share a slot with Jeanfield and Kinnoull.
I did. First club up St Johnstone.
