We missed the chance to grow the club in the Summer of 2014. 15,000 people bought tickets from the club, a competent organisation takes all those names and addresses and puts them on a database, then sends them season ticket information. Over 3,000 people at the parade after the Final. A competent organisation hands out flyers advertising season tickets. Iconic cup winning player gets sold for around half a million, a competent organisation tries to continue the good feeling by signing a striker who can match that players contribution., while trying to play exciting football to keep new fans coming. What did we get? First two points were completely ignored, not a single season ticket sold through those means. Final point? We signed Brian Graham on loan and spent every game shitfesting 1-0 wins, in one of the most brutal seasons of football I can ever remember.
