Carl Cort's Hamstring
Germany, Italy and Spain all look far more capable than them. France look very England-like - pretty passes but defensively suspect. Still think the Belgians can improve if they stop acting like primadonnas. Teams like Switzerland, Poland and Croatia are all more than a match for England as well. Switzerland and Poland are rubbish. I think Croatia would beat us though. Ya Bezzer!
Euro '92. Carlton Palmer was playing. Failed spectacularly to get out if the group and ended up with the worst record in the comp. some going seeing as we were there. The France England match in Euro '92 stands out as probably the worst game of football I've ever seen.
DeeTillEhDeh
So England are likely to play 2nd place in the Portugal group? Which could well be Portugal. Can see them getting papped oot. Only if both Iceland and Portugal win - this group has been the groups of draws so far - quite possibly may be that the third team does not qualify from this group. DeeTillEhDeh
Switzerland and Poland are rubbish. I think Croatia would beat us though. Both teams are effective defensively and up front have at least one players who can be a game changer.

Diamonds are Forever
Bilic putting that clown Wright in his place. Rightly pointing out that having more possession against a side deliberately playing for a draw and who are happy for you to have possession is no achievement. RandomGuy.
Just wondering if this is the worst England side to have played at a major tournament. Their 2014 World Cup squad probably has that honour, but it's a close one. Its arguably one of the strongest they've had since the 90s. Sadly for them they have an utter moron in charge who has absolutely no idea how to set up his team, or even what his best side is. While the media and fans all lap up this moronic "gameplan" which is just a b*****dised, hopeless, version of "attacking, possession football"
1320Lichtie
Portugal will beat Hungary, Which means Eng vs Hung unless Ice beat Aust, leading to GD deciding the top two. Don't fancy Ice to score many. If it's Hungary I can't see it being another 0-0 shitefest. The main thing for England is that they're through, if they hadn't scored that winner v Wales they very well could've been out tonight. Knockout stages will be totally different. Can't play for a draw in them. Can't see teams like Hungary managing to keep England out for 120 minutes but that'll be the plan. It'll be an interesting watch when they play a good team though. Not sure who that'll be though.

DeeTillEhDeh
More space for England to profit? Aye right. Better teams will try to push their full-backs back to prevent them bombing up and down.

Lex
So to sum up... It's okay England are rubbish against rubbish teams cause we will be better against better teams. Got to admire the extent to which they will delude themselves. If they get Portugal in the last 16 they will get papped out.
