Juventus were shaky at the weekend but they tend to be super organised in the big matches. Hard to see Monaco beating them. And that's coming from the guy that's been rooting for them all season, what a breath of fresh air they've been. Real Madrid vs Juventus final surely.

In all seriousness though Messi is so much better adds a lot more to the team. Real Madrid are so much better than Barcelona right now overall but in the recent Classico Messi ran the show whereas Ronaldo went hiding. Once the Champions League era is over Messi will have more goals than Ronaldo who has had much more games and is older.

Aye, both goals were uncharacteristically slopy from them, but Monaco weren't overly convincing themselves. Absolute howler from Jemerson to give Toulouse the lead, but they went up a gear and won it 3-1 in the end.

Tempted to say defence will come out on top in this one. Juve have kept 4 clean sheets in the knockout stage and only conceded 2 goals overall in 10 games. If there's a team that can stop Monaco scoring, it's them.

Did Messi run the show for Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final this year? No? How about last year? No thats right they got pumped in the QF both seasons without Messi scoring a single goal or creating a single assist in any of the 4 games. His record in El Classicos and big Champions League games the past couple of seasons has been extremely poor.

your just a ronaldo fan boy.

i bet you've got his aftershave and boxers

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Messi is brilliant if you need a brace against Deportivo Alaves I will admit. If you need big goals in big games however, CR7 is your man.

How about if you need a brace against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu to go above them in the league?

Messi was fantastic in that game no doubt about it. Barca missed him against Juve, they really could have done with having him for those two games.

If you're talking about braces in big games look no further than the recent Classico.

The entire team was shite away to Juventus but particularly the defence who are a shambles compared to Real Madrid.

It's just a bit of a piss take lads that's all. I'd rather just appreciate both players as when they're gone the 40-50 goals a season both get will go back to being pretty much unheard of. Anyone who seriously argues the toss between who's better and gets all emotion and angry (on either side) needs to take a look at themselves imo.

Let's just look forward to the last few weeks of the season, with Ronaldo going for La Liga and Champions League glory and Messi going for which medal you get for finishing second....
