Dave1875
Well that was a fantastic match. Thought it was three but Ciampa kicked out before the referee had enough time to stop his hand
JamieStevenson
Don't want to be that guy, but the tag match there was better than 95% of the rest of CWC. They'll do something stupid like have a battle royal to crown the first Cruiserweight Champion at Clash pf Champions.
Dave1875
Would put the tag match as my second favourite match in CWC after Alexander vs Ibushi

Ira Gaines
That entire show was wonderful. I love wrestling.
Christophe
Easily the best WWE show of the year, near 10/10. I'm gutted we still never got the lesser spotted Ibush vs Zabre Jr match, it's got to happen someday, somewhere!

What are they going to do? Have another tournament?.... Called it!.. To be fair it was obvious.
Ira Gaines
Wrestling's shite now though folks.
SamuraiJock
Loved the whole tournament from end to end. Loved the mix of styles and the complete lack of stupid heel/face booking. The whole tournament completed without a single screwjob finish! Top 5 matches for me (in no particular order): - Ibushi/TJP - Ibushi/Alexander - Ibushi/Kendrick - Gargano/Ciampa - Metalik/Tozawa or maybe Metalik/TJP? cb_diamond
Wonderful spectacle from start to finish, loved Bryan and Ranellos enthusiasm too!
forameus
Just got through watching after avoiding spoilers like the plague. A wonderful final two hours to cap off a wonderful series. Surprised in a way to see both Ibushi and ZSJ go out, but not upset at all about the latter. Just never took to him, although in that way he'd make an excellent heel. He's just so hateable. Still, with him not wanting to sign yet, best option was to have him put someone over, and may as well be Gran Metalik, who I found much more exciting to watch. Ibushi vs Perkins was absolutely brilliant, and is just the latest in a long line of matches that have told way more story on the CWC than in weeks of build in the WWE. When TJP kicked out of the Golden Star Bomb...ooft. Interesting to see if we get Ibushi in WWE soon - feel like he would be a waste in the Cruiserweight division (assuming RAW balls it up), so maybe signed later and thrown in to the main area. Tag team match was another great one, and showed what they can all do, but I was pulling for a Ciampa heel turn. If we'd got that, it would have made the show absolutely perfect, but seems like it'll be saved for the Takeover pre-Survivor Series. Ciampa is going to be an absolutely wonderful heel (he looks fucking scary in the face role) and we'll get Ciampa vs Gargano again. Can't wait. Then the final. A fitting one to cap off a brilliant series. Right guy went over, but it was a very well put together match between the two. That Frankensteiner over the top rope has to be spot of the match. Brilliantly executed, and brilliant reactions from the crowd. TJP probably has the greatest story out of all of them from kayfabe terms, perhaps next to Kendrick, so to see him win was great. Echo what everyone else has said, absolute gold from start to finish. 31 matches in the series, and you could probably count the duds on one hand. Had some great straight matches, and a few that told great stories. The only sad thing is that now it's over, some of these guys are going to RAW. Please, please, please don't ruin this. EDIT: And the state of TJP's chest after that! f**k sake!
Christophe
I think they'll have Ibushi top the card in NXT for a bit if they sign him. Let him wear that belt to carry on the lineage, and make him a bigger deal to the causals when he steps up again.
