How many of you felt such outrage at the murder of Joe Cox that you went to the funeral, sent any flowers or could it just be that you took to Facebook, twitter and the like. No doubt just getting over the death of Princess Di when it happened. Sorry I never cancelled my shift at work to travel down and impose on a stranger's funeral. I'll bear that in mind next time I object to the event's wider significance and what it means for the direction our country's going in. What a roaster.

The margin of victory was tiny, much less than Farage said he would accept had it gone the other way. Numerous polls since June have shown that there are enough who would change the way they voted now that the ramifications of their actions are becoming clearer to swing the vote decisively in remains way if the referendum were rerun today. It is the mark of a mature democracy that it can change its mind Quite right. I think Scotland has changed its mind from the last Scottish Poseidon Adventure election. Time for a new election. Well the snp have just had their arse kicked a number of times in the upside down chamber haven't they. Surely that is more representative than numerous polls.

Whilst I despise grief junkies I am equally disgusted by how little attention we as a society have given to the murder of Jo Cox. Certainly we should not be using it in such a glib way to try to score cheap points. It has fallen out of the public consciousness far to quickly IMO, and I say that as someone who did not support her politically.

The snp would love a new general election more than any other party in the UK I would say. Bring it on.
