Granny Danger
The social care sector risks collapse as it is heavily dependent upon EU nationals and 87% of current EU employees would not meet the new criteria for visas. No one to keep the rampant aging Brexiteers away from sharp instruments and self harm then. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-free-movement-social-care-charities-ippr-report-eu-citizens-rights-immigration-controls-a8384836.html

It's not petty at all, it's common sense. Financially and administratively it makes perfect sense for a EU company to sign contracts with suppliers inside the single market, rather than outside. Sign a contract with a UK company and in 2 years time you may find essential parts and components stuck in a lorry at Dover for a fortnight.

Given that the vast majority of flowers sold in the UK are imported from The Netherlands and brought across daily by refrigerated lorries, then you might not have to worry about that. If there's no trade deal, or an insufficient trade deal, these flowers won't get to the UK as quickly as they do just now . And when they do they'll cost a fortune compared to what they cost now. In addition to which, if you buy your components from a supplier that is also based in the EU, then the components will comply with EU regulations. If you buy a component from the UK, it might not comply and that could cause problems. Being outside the EU will create more red tape when dealing with the EU - not less.

Also insurance considerations. Currently you can struggle to get insurance for goods that originate out with the EU.

Unfortunately, thanks to the ineptitude of the government there are a whole plethora of lessons out there which will have to be learned the hard way. The mess we are getting ourselves into here, simply does not bear thinking about.

NotThePars
Half a glance at the replies to Corbyn’s tweets about Guatemala and Muhammad Ali from the FBPE lot and it makes more and more sense why Remain absolutely fucked the campaign.
