Not all the idiots voted for Brexit -

Trick question though, the members of the Commision mision are appointed by the elected Governments of the member countries. So they are democratically accountable.

Was it family stuff that made you move from Spain to Burnley? None of my business obviously..

Sensitive subject that....

Spain was probably always going to be temporary.

My partner comes from N.W England - her daughter and son-in-law (both schoolteachers) still live in this area and naturally appreciate any available help regards childminding, etc.

Personally i find it hard to understand why two, supposedly well educated people, could choose to live and work in this area, especially as my partner's daughter graduated from Edinburgh Uni, after living there, and in Fife for several years. What could be nicer than that?

How can two people who have spent most of their lives in educational establishments and yet know so little?

My bet of the week. If May survives and gets her Bill passed, Boris will join up with Farage to start a new Brexit means Brexit party, maybe incorporating the remains of Ukip.

I’d take that bet.  Johnson has only one ambition and that is to be PM.  The only chance of that happening is if he stays in the Conservative Party.

He has no ideological position that supersedes his personal ambition.

Three bottles?  Not much of a wager!

Happily accept that though.

Was thinking 6 as I don't think Vinnimusses or whatever they're called do deliveries of 3. Whatever though.. Not too  confident on this bet tbh.

This, this, this this, this, this, this, this, this,

And no surprise that May was playing the immigration card today.

That's not her playing politics, that's just what she actually thinks.

There’s 10,000 unfilled jobs in U.K. abattoirs and EU immigrants already make up 69% of the meat processing workforce.  The whole ‘skill based’ immigration thing is a farce.

Some other disturbing aspects of the article.

I'd be genuinely delighted if May, Johnson, Farage or Rees Mogg died suddenly.

I'm not advocating killing them. A fatal heart attack, being hit by a bus or any other natural cause is what I mean.

I dream of Bojo doing another one of those rope slide things.

Directly into a wind turbine.

I'd settle for Ian Duncan Smith developing Parkinson's tbh.

They obviously need to pay more and provide better conditions.
