Sensitive subject that.... Spain was probably always going to be temporary. My partner comes from N.W England - her daughter and son-in-law (both schoolteachers) still live in this area and naturally appreciate any available help regards childminding, etc. Personally i find it hard to understand why two, supposedly well educated people, could choose to live and work in this area, especially as my partner's daughter graduated from Edinburgh Uni, after living there, and in Fife for several years. What could be nicer than that? How can two people who have spent most of their lives in educational establishments and yet know so little?
Inanimate Carbon Rod
Its almost poetic that Brexit was suggested as a means of taking back control from an organisation that we had a full veto in (and never really utilised) the thing that may ultimately f**k brexit is a country within the EU using its veto to ensure we can’t ‘take back control’. Its glorious.

If May survives and gets her Bill passed, Boris will join up with Farage to start a new Brexit means Brexit party, maybe incorporating the remains of Ukip. I’d take that bet. Johnson has only one ambition and that is to be PM. The only chance of that happening is if he stays in the Conservative Party. He has no ideological position that supersedes his personal ambition.
DeeTillEhDeh
I’m sure there’s still a court case before the ECJ to determine if the U.K. can unilaterally withdraw Article 50. Happy to be corrected if this is wrong. That's correct.https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/nov/08/uk-cannot-stop-brexit-article-50-case-going-to-ecj-says-scottish-court

DA Baracus
I'd be genuinely delighted if May, Johnson, Farage or Rees Mogg died suddenly. I'm not advocating killing them. A fatal heart attack, being hit by a bus or any other natural cause is what I mean.
