Bit confused that Blackford called for GE and then he (the media team) put out a statement calling for a 2nd EUref. ETA. With the Clarke amendment it didn’t include the SM or a ensure freedom of movement, its a decent starting point but not one that the SNP could ever really vote for as it was. If Monday doesn't produce a viable alternative, May's deal will go through, Phase 2 allows space for everything between remain and a hard brexit, it's only party politics that has stopped it till now. There are some within the SNP who oppose a 2nd referendum for the reason being that they believe it would set a dangerous precedent ahead of a future Yes vote to independence.
