D'Jaffo
Was trying to think who Mark Francois reminded me of and he just helped me out, Arkwright in Open all Hours.I was thinking more along these lines,

The house is never going to vote for a referendum. There’s a possibility if she gets the DUP on side which is pretty unlikely. Without them I doubt she’ll get the votes she needs from the ERG.

Granny Danger
The news channels and ‘serious’ newspaper websites trying to portray tonight as a failure is nonsense and is pandering to populist thickos.
John Lambies Doos
It’s not nearly as bad as it seems. It’s was intended to be a whittling down process. The two most popular votes, both of which got more votes than May’s deal, with less MPs voting, should come back on Monday.Ffs GD, it's not STV, they don't rate votes. They will just vote exactly the same on Monday. There is no majority, complete waste of time!

John Lambies Doos
There's talk of something similar to STV on Monday.Firstly, that won't be allowed. Secondly if it is the 295 people who voted against the 2nd referendum plus ones which abstained just won't rate it as a second option. Whole thing is a farce

grumswall
Shambolic pretty much sums up the voting tonight. The voting does however show how massively devided the UK is over this whole thing. A parliament so devided on this surely has to revocate for a specified time in order to gauge the exact will of the entire UK. 1 vote based on conjecture is hardly a strong footing to start off with and its showing as much.
