The reason we got Brexit is precisely because MP's have been ignoring their constituents, ffs........ for far too long! MP's should stand down if they are not prepared to represent the electorate...... Exactly. When the MPs think their jobs are in jeopardy, they will move to jeopardy.

Well, I didn't see a question so that was my reaction, However, in my opinion there were a range of reasons for voting Brexit and 'xenophobia' was nowhere near a strong enough cause for 17.5million Scottish, Irish, English, Welsh, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi , West Indian, Fijian and African Brits to vote Brexit. I think it was more to do with the failing experiment that is the EU, the prospect of ever closer Union with that failing entity, the failure of the EU to deal with the Euro crisis and the refugee crisis and the migrant crisis. The attempt to exert it's influence into places like Ukraine, creating the conflict there and not being able to help as Russia took back The Crimea and because of the effect of uncontrolled, mass immigration from Eastern Europe and the pressure this has put on services, resources and the lowering of wages and reduction of opportunity for the lower paid and poorly educated........pretty much not xenophobic at all when you understand what the word means.

Err...that is completely stupid. How the f@ck will brexit help to tame Putin? Small minded Westminster has delusions of grandeur. We should be at the centre Europe, arguing, fully contributing and shaping policy. Instead we will now be the wee insignificant nyaff that hovers around the edge irritating the big boys. Oh and by the way......u nearly managed to sound not too particulalrly britnatish up until the Eastern Europeans stealing our jobs bit. Must try harder to hide the xenophobe bit imo.

What a fucking walloper. Quite right too! We need to start buying from our own manufacturers - oh hang on, we've not got any since the Tory b*****ds and New Labour b*****ds merrily allowed them all to be closed down or sold off to the highest asset stripper because they weren't "competitive" (ie. weren't getting the massive state subsidies & other sleights of hand manufacturers in the US, Germany, France, Italy & Spain got routinely). Typical Labourites, promising to shut the barn door long after the horse has not merely bolted but been sold for glue & couch stuffing.

Someone else who misunderstands the meaning of xenophobe........it's the fear and/or hatred of foreigners......not being happy with the current immigration policy and it's effects is not xenophobia, you silly, silly boy......The funny thing is most governments endorse xenophobia and in fact actively try to encourage it when it suits them, for example, in times of conflict or war..... Anyway, as said and as will say again, until you dumb c*nts get the message, there were many, many different reasons for voting Brexit, including , for a very few, xenophobia, but most definitely not for the other 17,250,000........Look I know you are struggling with it all but it's been a wee while since the referendum......surely you get it by now.....surely to god!
