The Tories will still need to win by a 2/3rds majority under the terms of the fixed Parliament Act. There are 2 other ways, VONC, straight majority, which brings a 2 week delay, or the "Notwithstanding the FTPA, Ruel St, bring your maw" ploy, which only needs a majority but allows amendments like dropping the voting age to 16. Hopefully the Little Englanders can put their nationalistic tendencies aside and actually examine what they are voting for. They're too busy reading the latest edition of the Daily Mail to notice any of the surrounding propaganda.

welshbairn
Every election result has been a surprise to me and most of the pollsters over the last 5 years. Cmon SNP/Labour!

Granny Danger
I hope the SNP play the issue of a GE carefully. It’s pretty obvious that in Scotland it will be good result for us, but we have to look at the wider picture.

The Tories had it in their manifesto to repeal, not sure about the other parties. Did f**k all about it though, it's been a disaster. Cameron gets all the blame for this shitfest but Nick Clegg in his European Viceroy position for the Facebook Empire is almost equally to blame.

BawWatchin
Blackfords Freedom of Movement amendment defeated. Only gaining support of 64 MPs. 310 against (tories) and many abstaining like the completely spineless cowards that they are.
