Unsurprisingly Souleymane Couilbaly bagged his third win of the season by a whopping 32 votes due to his thunderb*****d against Celtic. However on twitter for the official SPFL goal, Celtic and  Aberdeen fans united to give James Maddison's freekick against Rangers the win.

This week there's seven nominations to join Coulibaly, Billy King and Coulibaly in the monthly final next week.

Callum Paterson vs Motherwell - A zinger from the Heart's right back that left his foot like the proverbial traction engine (whatever that is).

Arnaud Djoum  vs Motherwell - Cameroon's Djoum made the net go boom.

James McFadden vs Hearts - The man with more screamers than spells at Motherwell, added yet another direct freekick this season in  the Premiership. This one stands out for  it's distance

Liam Polworth vs Hamilton Accies - Inverness have been stellar form  for long range pingers, mainly because they always have shite strikers, but this late equaliser cued raucous scenes

Niko Krancjar vs Partick Thistle - Finally an expensive ex QPR player doing something for Rangers, with a graceful dribble through the Thistle defence before blasting it in.

Chris Kane vs Ross County - The demon Kane finishes off a rapid counter attack against  Dullest team in the league County.

Andrew Considine vs Kilmarnock - Cross dressing Aberdeen stalwart Considine blooters one in through a scrum of bodies.

was between Paterson and McFadden for me. Went with Paterson firstly because it's an absolute thunderb*****d of a hit and also the context. Hearts were only 1-0 Motherwell had started the 2nd half well and had a goal (legitimately) ruled out for offside. Paterson does *that* and puts the game to bed. The camera angle from the Cooper stand best shows just how ridiculous an effort it is.

McFadden's is a superb free kick and any other week would have got my vote.

I went for Djoum. As good as the strikes by Paterson and McFadden were I liked how Djoum kept control of the ball when he struck it. Almost like he was leathering a pass into the net.
