Bartley has kicked out at Barr with his left foot.

Not a career ender but a straight red card for sure.

We didn't spread play enough yesterday after the red card. Hibs never really looked in any danger and actually looked the more likely of the two teams to score.

  1. 1.
strike or propel forcibly with the foot.

Some force in that 'kick'.

Pretty clear red card. Considering he has been sent off twice within the space of a few weeks Hibs should possibly look at dropping the clumsy donkey.

First one already been proven as not worthy of a red card. This should go the same way.

Seems like he's given it for the left foot catching Barr at the knee. Really doesn't look like much on the video, but Barr's reaction probably supports the referee, to an extent. Obviously you don't want to put an awful lot of stock into the actions of an opposing player, but the red card is already out before he's had a chance to influence the referee, and he's clearly furious, so he obviously felt it was deliberate (or extremely reckless).

If he'd given a yellow, I don't think anyone would be talking about it.

Or he's a massive cheating *** b*****d?

Another horrific shin splitting lunge from a hibs midfielder...I expect it to be overturned as the precedent has already been set that hibs midfielders are allowed to attempt to break players legs...despicable cowardly challenge
