As far as I know, the European settlers headed West and captured territory from the Native Americans.  When Columbus discovered "America" in the 15th century, the tribes were keen to help him and their "visitors" to grow crops and even gave them land to cultivate and inhabit.  But that wasn't enough for the greedy Europeans that wanted more.  No, they were not happy with their lot, they wanted the riches that the land produced.  So they set out and conquered.  

A short while after the railroads connecting the East to the West was established by President Grant, America had a depression and the stocks and shares fell considerably.  President Grant was in a pickle, not knowing how to handle this, then gold was discovered in the Black Hills, which was territory that had been "given" to the Natives.  The Natives refused the sale, (Sitting Bull's famous pinch of dirt) it was sacred ground, but the white settlers decided it was to be theirs.  All Natives were to return to reservations or they would be considered hostile.  

A bounty was put on the heads of buffalo, under the direction of President Grant and General Sherman or Sheridan?  William Cody, aka Buffalo Bill slaughtered many. can't remember the exact figure.  But over 3 MILLION buffalo were killed by white settlers who were paid by the American government per head.  This was their solution to the "Indian" problem.  In comparison, only 150 thousand were killed by the Native Americans who used every part of the buffalo for meat and tepees etc.  The tribes had to go to Canada to seek food because the white man had destroyed so many buffalo they were starving.  Today there would be an outrage at this genocide.  The white man got the Black Hills and the American economy was safe again.  

I am not purposely having a go at America, only stating facts.  The English have been cruel and brutal too in their conquests.  But to claim that the Native Americans gang raped women as if they were the only ones to do it is false.  Atrocities happened on both sides, neither were perfect, but I believe the white settlers started the brutality.  

Of course there were Indians around. But the numbers were very small. The largest army the Indians ever put in the field against the US was in the low 4 figures. The trail of tears which removed the Indians from the southeast was around 50K. Compare that to the Germans of Eastern Europe after WWII, a similar case for similar reasons. There were probably over 10 million expelled. Around the time the US was founded there were about 600K Indians in all of what would become the US. Their numbers didn't drop because settlers were killing them. There were almost no white people outside the 13 colonies. Disease had wiped them out and the land was almost entirely open.

I can't speak for what happened in Latin America, but the reception from the Indians in North America was mixed. The first Virginia colony was 100% wiped out, probably by Indians. The Pilgrims in New England did befriend a tribe that was on the verge of being exterminated by the other tribes in the region. This was the tribe that helped them learn to grow crops.  The English helped protect them militarily. This tribe then warned the colony about a confederation of other tribes planning on wiping them out. The English were able to get the drop on the tribes thanks to this warning and attacked first. In the Delaware valley the tribes were very peaceful, which is why the Quakers and Mennonites settled there. They didn't have to fight and both sides got along.

Once you get hundreds of years past when white people are being born here it's kind of pointless to argue that it was started by one side or the other. For every instance you mentioned there's an unprovoked raid on white settlements that ended with babies brains being bashed out of their heads. It was fighting of the worst kind because the systems of living could not have been more incompatible. The Indians just lost.

 Mental instability, latent racism... whatever, he's simply not fit for office.  Imagine raising a kid in the US, and that individual in the White House  is a person they're supposed to look up to.  You can't.  You have to tell your children to do exactly the opposite of the president.  What kind of a situation is that?  He's destroying the validity of the office, and he's going to take the Republican party with him.

The only question is how invested the GOP leadership is in Team Trump.
