The Master Posted January 21, 2017 Share Posted January 21, 2017 Well that was a bit shit. And cold. Cold and shit. First and foremost, St Mirren thoroughly deserved to win that. They took their two chances and we didn't take our only one (Haber hitting the post). They didn't look particularly good, and I'm sure St Mirren fans will agree. But they didn't need to be. And that's precisely how ties like this are won. Hartley needs to just come out and say we weren't good enough and make absolutely no excuses. If Haber scores the one that hits the post I could've seen us winning by a few, but we shot ourselves in the foot with the first and it was already game over at that point.High balls up to Wighton, Duffy, Bakhtaoui and Williams is just fucking mental. Didn't win anything in the air all day and yet we kept on doing it.. Well done St Murn, I'm sure a wee cup run would lift spirits around the club. Good luck in the next round. When we attempted to play high balls to Bakhtaoui we finished in the bottom half of league one so good luck with that hope he's proving worth the wages.
