I actually think it reflects the shift in football towards commercialism. Fans seem to act, rightly or wrongly, more like consumers/customers than before.

It does seem to be a case of 'I chose to pay to see this instead of watching sky sports so go and justify yourself to me' with less regard for the limitations of their team.

Personally I've always just seen it as a 38 game league season where you're in it together, and especially during the poor runs of form which happen every single season.

Scrutiny and criticism is fine but not at the expense of perspective and just generally being supportive for 90 minutes. The only time I think I've properly swayed from that is towards the end of the McGhee era when it became clear that we were just an absolute shambles in every aspect.

Gotta take my hat off to you and the others that traveled up there to watch the dross were serving up just now. Was there many there?

Rotten, mate. I didn't expect a win, but I expected the team to show a bit of heart. Still, I've been singing about Grant Gillespie since 10am.

110 (I think) according to Aberdeen's Twitter.

I heard 120, but I'll let you off ;)

The Thain's/Pittodrie pie was the highlight of the 90 mins for me.

£2.85 is bloody steep but credit where credit's due - that may be the best pie in the Premiership just now.

The haggis, neep and tattie pie I had in Dingwall ten days ago just edges it in taste and at £2.20 definitely in value.

I had it when we were up in November, and I absolutely agree that it's the best in the Premiership. Absolutely amazing. I used to think Aberdeen's were, but the one I had yesterday was awful.

Made a decent noise too considering.

Respect to the accies fans that were there today

Looking forward to a picture of the Accies fans being posted on that Scottish Away Days Facebook page leading to folk slagging of the size of the away crowd. As others have said fair play to those going to games at this time of year. Not exactly a shocker that a club with a small home support will take less to away games than other clubs.

Reynolds is a strange one. We were discussing his regression in the pub on Friday for the Well game. Of the three of us there, two including me thought he was 33 or 34 years old ie. the age when the pace starts to disappear. The other guy called his age right - 29. Should be at his peak, completely isn't.

A weirdly enjoyable game yesterday. Accies made us work like mad for the three points, their workrate is undeniable. Yet they're a terrible team. As @accies1874 correctly pointed out, they barely strung more than three passes together all afternoon. Despite being a hard working team, the quality is awful and this may be the year that they go down.

Our team was well set out, and Del made the right substitution bringing on Maddison, albeit probably should have been for the continually regressing Reynolds. Really should have been more but we were quite wasteful in front of goal and our decision making in the final third was very qustionable at times. However, the opportunities at least have begun to be created again as Hayes and McGinn have come to the fore in Maddison's rightful spell on the bench.

On questionable decision making, Andrew Dallas shouldn't even be allowed to referee an Ayrshire District Junior game, never mind a Premiership encounter. A truly abysmal referee. Missed countless simple bookings for both sides, awarded an incorrect penalty and generally made a total arse of proceedings. He didn't favour either side, he was just rancid.

O'Connor coming on late on will see him into the team on Friday, hopefully for Reynolds. Bar that, I would not make any changes to it, it is working well, making our forward going players tick.

On a final note, James Maddison needs to cut out this diving nonsense. Yesterday's effort was truly embarrassing, and the assistant correctly overturned Dallas's initital decision. He can go on all he wants about not being a diver, he is and is being found out for it. Lad is very talented but he needs to cut that rubbish totally out of his game.

Getting top quality tuition from Pawlett. IMO.
