Been on An Stuc in winter conditions, only had an axe at the time, went out and bought crampons the following week The first time I did An Stuc it was in the other direction - I think it was about my 12th munro. I missed the "path" and went down the face. f**k knows how I didn't die - was hanging onto clumps of heather and all sorts. I was a nervous wreck at the bottom. Going up is definitely preferable, though perhaps not for my pal who was trying to hold onto an over-eager spaniel as well as walking poles in the pishing rain
The Mantis
The Tour of Britain was down our way on Monday. The Movistar team were involved in a huge pileup a couple of miles back so the guy in the second pic has a braw wound on his leg.

The Mantis
Got a Highly Commended in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2022 as well as overall winner in the Urban category. The winning images will be displayed in Bonnie & Wild in the new St James Quarter in Edinburgh (aka The Turd ). The 2021 images are still up there and on the website. There's usually a book produced too. First time I've entered this. Had to enter up to 7 images and they choose the best 3. I've probably put these up before in this thread but anyway... I got into their e-book a couple of times years back but have been far too lazy to bother the last few years

Benjamin_Nevis
I've been looking through my older stuff on Lightroom - this one was from Elgol Beach on Skye in July 2015, and is still one of my favourites.
Guest
Rumbling Gorge by Crook of Devon Not near the level of a lot of the shots on this thread, but as a man who has only ever taken drunken phone snaps I was happy with this phone pic:

Benjamin_Nevis
Camas Mor's coastline this time last year. There's a cracking but exposed in places path which goes from the Rua Reidh Lighthouse at the end of the Melvaig road that follows the coast north for a bit. Some of the drops down to the sea are pretty mental. Great views though
