Interesting game this Saturday for the Binos can we make it 4 wins in a row or will Montrose get the better of us this time at Links Park.

Expect it to be a tight affair between 2 teams who have started to pick up points and would be happy to come away from Links Park with a point to keep us going in the right direction UP.

Prediction Montrose 2 Albion 2          :thumsup2

Win this and promotion play offs have to be the target. If we go with the same side as last week then should be another victory for the Albion.

Gutted to be missing this, will be using twitter updates to find out how we're getting on at Elland Road.

First end of season game for us imo. We won't worry the play off spots at either end (so pleased to be saying that). Players looking for contracts for next year should keep us competitive enough though.

Can't see Mo catching Annan now, so they may be in the same boat.

The winner of this is by no means out of the promotion play off race. With elgin playing annan at the weekend, if Montrose win they will only be 5 ,6 or 7 points behind 4th place. When Stirling win they will move up to 5th either 7, 8 or 9 points behind. With a quarter a season still to play this is,by all means catchable.

Mon the Binos

Any decent pubs in Montrose for a few beers before the game?

You could try the British Legion Club 50 yards from Links Park within easy staggering distance.

I like your optimism but don't lets get too far ahead of ourselves, a few positive results is very enjoyable and we've clawed ourselves to mid table mediocrity for now. I'm looking for a win on Saturday too but as an end in itself not as part of a promotion push. As the cliche goes - one game at a time and see where we end up this season.

On the other hand if we don't win it would be 12 or 13 points behind.

Let's face it we aren't good enough to be in the promotion setup. We need to build on the last 3 results and try and win more games than we lose over the rest of the season. Hopefully we can have a proper go at promotion next season.

Montrose will be keen to put last week's disappointment behind them. We could sneak a draw but a home win more likely than an away win.

Interesting that the posts from Binos fans more or less reflect our thoughts. I think both teams are not ready for the play-offs and that both will be looking towards next season. That probably means tinkering with the line up to test out squad players and loan signings - Mo are already doing that (away at Clyde and to siome extent home to Annan last week). All well and good BUT I still want the 3 points so keep it reasonable Mr Petrie.

Its annoying its taken him this long to come good, but long may it continue.

Agree wasn't a Sean Dickson fan but beginning to warm to him just hope he keeps up his scoring record and show us the player he is capable of.
