Or do they sometimes come back the next day and I'm just clueless? Always thought these went to a play off on the 18th hole. It's what got me into watching golf, was it Harrington and a Spanish player at Carnoustie about 10 years ago where there was some absolute scenes in the play off? US Open still use an 18 Hole Playoff. Last one in the Open was 1975.
