West Region Secretary

Clubs should contact their local printers and pie suppliers to see if they can do a sale or return deal..... what chance have clubs got to bring in extra revenue with four days notice with the West of Scotland Cup, the second biggest cup in our region, quarter final as one of the games? Supporters clubs frantically calling bus companies, but wait will people have enough notice to get there? What about the older supporters that only find out about upcoming games when they are at games or from their local paper which in many cases publishes on a Wednesday. Absolute fanyspangle of a situation.

Fanyspangle ? A like that word nugent , good a word as any to describe the situation lol

Were there any at Clydebank yesterday ? Almost total silence when Girvan scored apart from the players shouting.

their travelling support at Kilsyth last week was barely into double figures if you exclude officials.

I seen 2 Girvan fans with scarfs on at end of the game. Only noise came from there number 9 or there bench.

Mon the papers

Let's not go down the road of slagging other teams support here , especialy girvan , girvan to kilsyth isn't kilsyth too cumbernauld ? When we went to girvan they'd a healthy home support , its not easy for people to travel if there's no bus etc ;

You have to seriously question whether this absolute disgrace to the end of the season is intentional?
We are here because the fixtures haven't been planned correctly through the whole season.
It's hard to believe someone who's been involved for so long can get it this wrong.
Is this soor grapes because his time maybe coming to an end? If so someone needs to step in and try salvage this horrendous apathy.

I appreciate that there are a lot of angry people on here regarding this issue but some of the names the match secretary has been called is shocking for a man who has put so many years into the juniors.

This is the aggrieved clubs chance now to make their voices heard when there is a justifiable candidate who is standing against him which there has not been for a while.  Use your vote to change things not your tongue to call the man crass names it does the clubs and te game no favours.

Dungshite
He has done nothing but hinder the juniors in all his tenure
The way the man speaks to people & treats clubs is abhorrent & he deserves no praise whatsoever.
Think you will find it's just fans that criticise him as if any committee member of a club did so he would threaten said club with sanctions or worse . Trust me on this one

I wonder how many teams would admit to voting on this halfwit at the last agm knowing how much a mess he has made of it year after year

There was no vote at last years agm as no one stood against him.

I do think it is time for a change and hope that if change happens then improvements are made. Actions will certainly speak louder than words for any new secretary.

Also feel a bit for Largs Thistle in among this fixture mayhem.

Two great 4-1 wins at home, a battling 3-2 defeat at Beith, one league game left to play,West tie on 15th April  then bingo 4 weeks(at least) with no game.

Checked Paddy Power site, and The Great Robbo is long odds on to keep the job.

Madness

Agree with you M8 we were expecting Largs on Saturday so they could get their season wrapped up (unless in the play-offs) so it will be a Wednesday night trip for the Talbot faithful losing Largs a good gate.

Get your money on him then, but no more than you can afford to lose.
