Great numbers but just shows how fickle we are as a nation

Well, a very small percentage of us. Maybe 5 to 10%. The Yes vote just keeps slowly ticking upwards despite these wee swings because the pro-Union generation are dying.

The game for some Unionists now appears to be to pretend everything's fine and it's not going to happen before they're in the grave themselves, at which point they've "won".

This is the funniest one yet. The Airplane! to 1997's Naked Gun.

It's nice to think that, as we head in to work on days off to stay warm and decide which foodstuffs we can no longer afford to buy, there's the possibility of seeing an absolute emptying in a few years. Well, for those of us still alive.

Oh dear, it looks like it's not only the temperature that is tanking.

I wonder what could've prompted this supreme turn of events.

Just checked and that story does not merit a single line in the 100 page English version because they could not give a f**k.

The elephant in the room here is that UK Nats don’t really have a plan for increasing support - they’re hoping that support for Scottish independence will just go away - and UK leaders will realise this. It will only result in a protracted death of what’s left of the UK rather than a mercifully short one.

The problem here is that as soon as any UK Government sees the writing on the wall (if they haven’t already), they’ll make it their mission to tear everything they can out of Scotland before the plug is finally pulled.

From the Scottish perspective, if the UK is dying, it’s far better to get out sooner rather than later. Why wait until Sunak/Starmer/N. E. Dirty-B’Stard has decided it’s taken all it can get and thus is at last willing to let us go?

I mean, if you are a paper which still enthusiastically supports Brexit, why would you want to make Scottish independence sound “cooler”?

Aye, surprised that haven’t stuck with “separation” or “raping and murdering Britannia”.
