Motherwell v Killie

My only problem with Hamilton is the out and out blatant time-wasting and general punt, run, kick opponents type of "tactics".

Maybe if they were to bring in a decent manager who believed in proper fitba they wouldn't be hated so much. You can't fault their set-up and seem to be pretty well run off the pitch.

You should have seen their goalie's attempt to hold up the game on Saturday, outpaced two Well players in a 50 yard dash to get to the ball to throw it over the boundary wall. Took the booking and retreated to his box, job done.

Killie have finished top six once in the last decade and play in a two thirds empty stadium most weeks. Not sure how much more they offer to the top flight than Accies tbh.

We offer nothing to the top flight.
Do learn to deal with it.

Believe it or not but those other teams you've mentioned have been in the leagues below Accies these last few years because they are worse than them!

But you omitted my last sentence .......again merit has nothing to do with my opinion

I actually praised their set up directly above your post, the stadium is ridiculous, but it is sized appropriately. Our empty stadium is more depressing for the poor souls sitting in it week in, week out than it is for the ones who visit once or twice a season.

Different days when the stadium was fuller 15-20 years ago and even in the play-off last year, excellent atmosphere when nesrly full but it's few and far between now.

I understand, but the reason you gave was "the fair on show has on the whole been less than appealing". I was trying to make the point that fare on show from inferior teams to Accies would most likely be even worse.

Anyways, don't know why I'm defending that piss poor excuse for a full time club anyway. 2 stands, a gazebo and a double decker bus fs

I whole heartedly agree with your last sentence:)

i have seen teams relegated and from lower leagues  who have played " nicer " football than the ones that stayed up. Case in point Killie under Davie Sneddon played great football but were relegated in the early 80s  This year Morton came to RP in the league cup and played the better style of football . I agree with you that sometimes the relegation candidates resort to hoofball , we know all about that at Killie , but there are always exceptions . Your team played sevco  off the park with a more dynamic exciting brand of football so IMO would have been a loss to the league .

I heard K. Boyd needs a knee operation on Saturday, he hasn't trained since the start of last week, he was at a specialist on Thursday apparently and won't feature again this season. He wasn't in the training video on YouTube last week either.

I don't know if true or not but overheard a couple of guys talking about it in the Brass n Granite after the match, you heard anything about it humper?

Aye heard exactly the same.

Motherwell have won nothing in for the majority of their squads lifetimes and play in a two thirds empty stadium most weeks. Not sure what they bring to Scottish football in general.

You must have enjoyed the open top bus parades, trophies and celebrations that went on for days for finishing top six though!

Good to see this fans love-in has died on it's arse. Can't beat a bit of plastic hostility in this relegation shitfight.

What is relegation? I'm unfamiliar with this term.

I'm confident Accies will only manage a point at best in Dingwall so it's entirely in our own hands to ensure survival.

I'm hoping that despite the last few laughable home performances, this will be enough motivation for the players to better the Accies result and we can go to Inverness on the last day for a carefree piss up.

Either that or Killie could just be good c***s and lie down.

Aye. Everything about this bottom six shitfest has been in our own hands from the start. Home games against Dundee and County that we comprehensively shat the bed on, and we've scraped past Accies to give ourselves a decent chance.

Still zero confidence that we'll do what's required, and that Accies won't pull one out. If we go down, we absolutely deserve it.

In the last 10 years we've brought some of the most handsome sides the sport has ever seen. Is that not enough?

Granted we are going though a bit of a dip at the moment admittedly...
