Have won a good few Albanian cups second largest team in Albania. I expect this will be the team we will meet. Valur will be heavy favourites I suspect. They get nowhere near 8k crowds either.

Can't see many people defending that including SMISA members. 2 chances of a ticket is certainly not fair. Won't be a issue unless we end up in Iceland.

I'm a SMISA member and agree it's total nonsense given the small numbers we are rumoured to be receiving.
NBr1877
Also reading that you must be a paying member for 18 months, so it's the elite members only, stinks that.
buddie06smfc
Seems like a belated, unadvertised benefit of the highest paying SMiSA membership. Will they introduce this for league games as well with allocations getting reduced at the likes of Tynecastle?

For clarification it's open to all levels of SMISA membership, not the highest bracket but that still doesn't make it right in my eyes.

Apologies meant to say memberships. They excluded entry and junior memberships, though that may be because they were introduced after the cut off date for the ballot.

Maybe a lot of us couldn’t exactly place a pin on, let’s say, Melton Mowbray, Pontefract, or Milton Keynes, but that’s not what grinds my gears. What grinds my gears is the ignorance about Scotland displayed by a club who have just signed a player from us, and who are just about to play us in a friendly. I don’t think I am unreasonable at all in saying in general we know more about English football and their geography/towns than many down South know about us.

The "boys" being those who have quietly put £12/month into St Mirren for the best part of a decade now (on top of season tickets, etc), helping the club improve on and off the park. Yeah, disgusting!

Yeah, disgusting! While it’s not jobs for the boys type stuff, unless there is no transparency in the split of tickets and the rules of each ballot. Why only introduce this now? Why not put that in as a benefit when the membership was introduced? Even though there wouldn’t have been any issue with securing a ticket for games except at Tynecastle they could have introduced it years ago. Every now and then we get a game where demand is higher than supply, they wouldn’t have had to go that far back to think of that. Seems like a ploy of jumping on the biggest game for the club in years to garner more members by saying this is what you could have while not advertising it as a benefit. I suppose they were looking at radical ways to grow the membership. What about those who have spent hundreds in the club shop? Why do they not get a reward for putting money into the club? The categories could go on forever. The common denominator for the vast majority (4k+) is a season ticket.

For me the people who go to away games every week should get priority but there's no way of doing that . Even giving priority to buses nowhere near covers all those who travel so season ticket holders is imperfect but the fairest way.
